2008 Brown Robe Benefit Planning is well underway!

Planning began for the 2008 Brown Robe Benefit in early February at a meeting attended by approximately 20 new and returning volunteers. For the fourth year, Meghan Curtis, Director of Special Events, will lead the volunteers in creating another amazing evening. The 15th annual Capuchin fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008, at the Grand Hyatt Denver at 1750 Welton Street in downtown Denver. Please plan to join the Capuchins in this wonderful celebration.

It's been a few weeks since we celebrated the 2007 Brown Robe Benefit. The Capuchin Franciscan friars and the Brown Robe Leadership Committee would like to express our heartfelt thanks to those who participated in the evening. The event was an incredible success and all in attendance seemed to have a wonderful time. If you were unable to attend, we missed you but kept you in our prayers. Thank you also to those who wore a cap, or hat, to the event. The diversity of hats at the Brown Robe helped us further highlight the varied and amazing lives and works of the Capuchins. The 2007 Brown Robe Benefit celebrates the many caps (or hats) worn by our brown-robed friends. In honor of the Capuchin friars, we invite you to wear a hat of your choice to the Brown Robe.
